2025 Samsung TV Lineup Review

Samsung’s 2025 TV Lineup: Our Take on What’s Worth Buying

From ultra-bright QLEDs to art-forward displays, here’s what I recommend and which is the the best 2025 Samsung TV for your home or project.
Samsung’s 2025 TV lineup pushes the boundaries again, adding upgraded brightness, next-gen Vision AI, and cleaner installations across the board. With more models going anti-glare, and even The Frame Pro getting wireless One Connect box treatment, there’s a lot to be excited about.
But not all models are built equally, or for everyone. I dug deep into Samsung’s latest releases and matched each to real-world home needs to see which is the Best 2025 Samsung TV for your home with insights supported by our own Cloud 9 AV Samsung show visit and the recent Digital Trends hands-on review.
Cloud 9 AV Quick Recommendation Chart

QN990F (8K Neo QLED)

Available in: 65” 75” 85”
Highlights: 8K LCD / Wireless One Connect Box / NQ8 AI Gen 3 Processor / Upgraded Built-in Sound System / Infinity Air Design / 8K AI Upscaling Pro / Auto HDR Remastering
Samsung’s top-tier 8K offering includes a peak brightness of 2,000 nits in a 10% window and ~500 nits full-field, plus an anti-glare layer previously exclusive to OLEDs (Digital Trends). The QN990F also integrates Samsung’s full Vision AI suite—offering features like real-time subtitle translation, ambient-aware display adjustments, and even generative wallpaper content.
The wireless One Connect Box is one of the most important additions this year. It allows for a completely cable-free wall-mount install, which we’ve found invaluable for luxury design projects and open-plan media spaces.
Dave’s Take:
It’s a serious display for tech-forward clients who want the absolute latest. While 8K content remains rare, Samsung’s upscaling engine does a remarkable job making 4K content look sharper. We don’t recommend this for everyone but for premium homes or modern design builds, this is the statement piece.
QN90F (4K Neo QLED)

Available in: 45” 50” 55” 65” 75” 85” 98” 115”
Highlights: NQ4 AI Gen 3 Processor / Motion Xcelerator 165Hz / Upgraded Built-in Sound System / Glare Free Display / 4K AI Upscaling / AI motion Enhancer
This model is the flagship 4K QLED and likely Samsung’s most versatile 2025 release. With up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, 94% DCI-P3 colour volume, anti-glare coating, and Vision AI, it’s designed for rooms where sunlight is part of the equation (Digital Trends).
It also supports Filmmaker Mode for accurate tone mapping and offers sizes up to 115”, which makes it a serious contender for large open living rooms or projector replacements.
Dave’s Take:
The QN90F checks almost every box for most homeowners. We’re already expecting it to be our most popular TV this year. It works beautifully in rooms with ambient light, and the clean image handling makes it just as suitable for sports as it is for cinema.
QN80F (4K Neo QLED)

Available in: 50” 55” 65” 75” 85” 100”
Highlights: 4K LCD / NQ4 AI Gen 2 Processor / Quantum Matrix Full Array Backlight / Better Contrast / Less Blooming / Brighter
Samsung’s entry-level Neo QLED still benefits from mini-LED backlighting and quantum-dot colour. While it lacks the same peak brightness and local dimming control as its flagship siblings, it includes Samsung’s upgraded UI with AI recommendations, and a simplified version of Vision AI (Digital Trends).
If you’re shopping for a living room or bedroom setup where raw HDR impact isn’t the priority, this model gets the job done.
Dave’s Take:
The QN80F is our recommended budget friendly model for clients looking to modernize without overspending. It’s great for secondary rooms, rental properties, or households that value ease of use over peak HDR precision.
S95F (OLED)

Available in: 55” 65” 77” 83”
Highlights: 4K OLED / Slim One Connect / NQ4 AI Gen 3 Processor / Glare Free / Upgraded Built-in Sound System / Infinity One Design / 4K AI Upscaling Pro / Auto HDR Remastering
Samsung’s newest OLED iteration, the S95F which is the top of the line tv competing with the other big names, introduces a new glare-resistant matte screen coating—a first for OLEDs (Digital Trends). That means you can finally enjoy deep OLED contrast without worrying about mirror-like reflections, especially in rooms with ambient light.
It also incorporates Vision AI and supports full colour performance with precise black-level control.
Dave’s Take:
This is easily one of the best OLED TVs available today, and for true cinema-style dark room environments, it’s hard to beat. That said, for mixed lighting or daytime viewing, the QN90F remains a more practical option for many clients.
The Frame (2025)

Available in: 32” 43” 50” 55” 65”
Highlights: Neo QLED 144Hz / Glare Free / Improved Backlighting / Art Mode / AI Motion Enhancer Pro / Wired One Connect Box / Custom Bezels
The Frame continues to be one of Samsung’s most popular lifestyle TVs—and it’s easy to see why. With its matte anti-glare display, customizable bezels, and Art Mode, it blends seamlessly into design-driven spaces. This year, it also features Vision AI enhancements for content curation and environmental sensing (Digital Trends).
Like previous models, it includes a wired One Connect Box that keeps devices and inputs out of sight.
Dave’s Take:
We’ve installed many of these. The Frame is perfect for clients who want a screen that doesn’t look like a TV. While it doesn’t compete with the QN90F for HDR power, that’s not the point. It’s a lifestyle-first piece that still performs well for day-to-day viewing.
The Frame Pro (2025)

Available in: 65” 75” 85”
Highlights: Wireless One Connect Box / Neo QLED Up to 144Hz / Glare Free / Improved Backlighting / Art Mode / AI Motion Enhancer Pro / Custom Bezels
This is one of the most exciting additions to the lineup: The Frame Pro now features Samsung’s wireless One Connect Box—the same one used in the QN990F. That means clients can enjoy a full-frame aesthetic for art display and all other sources handled wirelessly (Digital Trends).
This model is designed not just for homes, but also for commercial environments like boutiques, galleries, and high-end staging.
Dave’s Take:
The Frame Pro brings bigger sizes and fixes the final flaw in what was already a customer favourite. Now with the wireless One Connect Box, for clients building highly designed interiors, this is one the cleanest AV install possible in 2025.
